VX 2000 external monitor
I have hooked up an external monitor to my VX 2000 by using the yellow RCA plug and running it in line to my external monitor. I have gotten a picture from this in the past, but now it will not show me a picture. Is there some setting that I'm missing?

Re: VX 2000 external monitor
Are you talking recording, replay or both? Have you checked the monitor's connecting cable? Batteries ok in the monitor? Changed any output settings in the VX's menu?

"Changed any output settings in the VX's menu"
Is there a specific setting that it should be? I checked everything else and this was working about a year ago with the same monitor.

Re: VX 2000 external monitor
If you have more than one output connected to a cable, it will default to the highest resolution output, at least in most Sony models. So for example if both component and composite are connected, only component will output.
But of course as Tom says, make sure DISPLAY is set to V-OUT/LCD in the OTHERS menu. Page 113.
