Vx2100 Vs. Panasonic Dvc30

Yes, i know this is a Sony forum, ergo perhaps a little bias but you also have the experience.

I'm debating between the Panasonic DVC 30 (lighter, cheaper, better sound, longer zoom and I like the feel and looks) and the Sony VX2100 (larger CCDs, better low light, had a TRV900 and liked it a lot).

Any wisdom appreciated...even unwise random thoughts welcome!
