Approx. Life of Recording Heads PD-170&Vx2100
I've got a friend that has a VX2100 and a PD-170, he has around 290-300 hours on his PD-170, the VX has been barely used. I was wondering if you guys know about the exact life of the recording heads, as i have got mixed responses on this from other people before, and Sony won't tell you, or i cannot find that on Sony's site, but any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you ______________________________________________ -Ben |

The good news is that there's little news on this subject. Why so? because head wear is not something that's bothered this list or any other of the lists I frequent. There's more chance of other things going wrong in the time it takes to wear out the VX/PD heads, and I for one don't give it a second though. Hey, I use both my VXs a LOT.
