Shooting Tips for the PD170

Greetings!

Well, I've sold my GL2 and joined the ranks of PD170 owners. I have a shoot with the PD170 next weekend (5/21), and I'm looking for PD170 specific tips to come up to speed quickly. I'm quite comfortable with the GL2, and even developed my own standard checklists. So if you'd like to share your most important tips for shooting with a PD170, I'll compile them into a "Top 10 Shooting Tips for PD170" and post it here!

What I'm looking for is tips you've learned from experience, that you don't usually get from the manual. Of course, if you have a tip that is of paramount importance, please include it whether or not it is in the manual.

And I'm only looking for tips that are specific or unique to the PD170.

BTW, the "Tips" link on the Sony DV Companion page is broken.

TIA for your help and contributions.

Best Regards,
Pete
