Looking for tripod remote for PD170 with iris control and more...
I've looked at three major manufacturers, Varizoom, 16x9, and Manfrotto, that manufacture remote controlers for zoom, start/stop, and focus functions. Yet I am looking for 2 features that do not seem to be widely implemented. Push focus (Zoe has it) and iris control (none of them seem to have it).
Anybody ever hear about iris control on a tripod remote... or some other gizmo that could do the trick? |

It is possible that the RM-95 controller from Sony will do this but I've not played with one. A wired version of this controller is used to control the cameras during servicing.

Unfortunately iris control is not supported by the LANC protocol. That's why you've never seen it. Sorry,
