Your favorite Custom Preset options
I've been experamenting with the custom preset button on my vx 2100 and I really like it. I just wanted to know, what is your favorite setting for certain things? Such as bringing out the green in grass more or something like that. I'll take some footage and upload it to show, if you can do the same then great.

Sharpness Tests
Boyd,
Thanks for sharing the sharpness tests. I have a few questions if I may: 1. What is the purpose of showing a 200% enlargement vs the actual image recorded? 2. All of the shots look out of focus to me. Is this because of the enlargement? 3. What conclusions do you draw from your tests? Thanks, Pete |

I used to film with high sharpness settings, but now i'm going sometimes "filmlook" and then i turn sharpness little bit down...
When i'm shooting sunset or something with warm colors, i add little bit red, when sky or grass i add more red or blue. i know that it's against true color rules, but it looks better... |

Just a suggestion about original footage:
Take it as neutral as possible and make your changes in Post. Otherwise, you may wish to re-purpose the footage and not be able to overcome what you did in the camera.
