Help! My VX2000 autofocus stuck on macro.
Hi all. Well, it's day one with my VX2000 and all is super, except..... after trying out and takin goff the .5 wide angle lens, my autofocus doesn't work anymore! It's perpetually stuck on macro focus. My fingernail looks crystal clear from 2 inches away, but anything farther away is impossible to get into focus, automatically or manually. Please help! Thanks so much.

I think is is a mechnical problem...(sticking). Return it or you can try to put the can "on", set focus on "infinite" and (slightly) knock with your hand on the lenshood in the backword direction.

Twenty pound sledge hammer directly to the lens! That'll knock any stuck mechanisms loose. Tell him Dre!

MY FAULT! Camera lens working fine now. I had unscrewed only part of the accessory lens I put on, and the Macro part was still on the camera. Duh!
