VX2100 clip screw up in Vegas5...

I took my VX2100 for a test drive today and recorded about 25 short clips. When I transferred the clips to the laptop, Vegas said I only had one large clip. I haven't changed anything in Vegas and my older JVC and Panasonic GS400 always split my clips where I had stopped and then restarted recording....so I figure it's not Vegas.

Am I missing something on the VX2100 that will split the clips when transferring?

Splitting clips is an operation of the editing software, not the camera. Check your settings for the detection of clips.
