Christmas Lights
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what settings I should have on my VX2100 to shoot christmas house lights outside in the dark?

Depends on what type of effect you want. For halos around all the lights, open up your aperture. For no halos do the opposite. I have the VX2100 and all you have to do switch the camera to manual and play with the aperture wheel until you get what you like.

Turn off the OIS unless you want dancing ghost echos of the lights.
