PD-150 eating tapes near the end
Has anyone else experienced the PD-150 chewing tapes while trying to review footage near the end of a load? I would think this is caused by slack on the short end but it happened a couple of times and only near the ends of the tapes when using the review buttons. Is this an inherent issue with this or any DV camera?

Not an inherent issue that I know of or has been reported here. I'd say there is something mechanically wrong with the camera if this has happened to more than one tape.

It was very common with the early versions of the TRV900 James, and it always occurred at the end of the tape - often graunching the tape when you hit rewind. It always meant a repair by Sony though, as reel tables and torque settings had to be reset.
