Film in Black and White with PD150
Hi,
Anyway to film in Black and White on the PD150 (not the silly Old movie thing, just plain and simple black and white.) Thanks, B |

You can with the VX2000, so i'm 99% that this feature would be on the pro version of it, the PD150.

The problem with not recording straight video on your camera is that you limit your artistic options in post production.
I this day of NLE use, monochrome is very easy to achieve. So unless you don't use and editing system, you might want to rethink recording anything but straight video and leave the fancy footwork for the editing suite. Just a thought.

I don't think it is possible. I was disappointed as soon as I discovered this. Is it?

The PD-150 features an OLD MOVIE mode, not a pure monochrome mode. You might try turning the color down in one of the custom settings. I haven't tried the control to see if color can be turned off completely.
I'd still do it in the editing sytem.
