At 897 & Pd170 at DVinfo.net

I was thinking of asking Santa Claus to get me a AT897 or a Shure SM81 mic for my new 170. Anyone using either of these mic with the 170? (Looking for a good overall mic at wedding receptions)

I use the SM81 all the time with my 150. Good microphone for every use but hand-held (no capsule suspension) although I do use it for that after careful instruction to the handler.

Thanks Mike...I'm planning on getting a few of them...one for the camera..and others for my Marantz 670 recorder.....
