SMPTE PD-150 timecode help
I just shot a few tapes in DV Cam mode with a PD-150. How do I know if SMPTE timecode was applied, and if it was not, is it possible to add the timecode afterwards without erasing my image, and what are the menu settings to get SMPTE timecode. Please help.

Your SMPTE code should be visible on the bottom of the screen in your PD150's viewfinder.
It's electronically recorded on the tape. 00:00:00:00 Hour:minute:second:frame |

Yeah, I could see the 00:00:00:00, but since it never changed, I assumed it wasnt applied. Am I wrong?

Your SMPTE TC should roll as you play or record.
I'm not sure what the cause of your problem is. Check your manual for some sort of TC default or reset. |
