any recommendation? the best i found is at tristate for 2549 bucks.(apart from gray market of course).

TriState doesn't have a great rep IIRC.

If you are going to use the camcorder for a long time, then I'd get the latest model. If you will use it and sell it, then maybe the older model although you should check resale prices to see which retains it's value longer.

If extreme low light is an issue, then the 2100 is a bit cleaner at max gain.
