What is the cost of a PD 170? How much did some of you pay?

Got mine for $3200 at biz-max.net. Free shipping if you live outside their area. I picked mine up.

Maybe Bob but I do not know if one can buy the Pal version in the States. I want to wait till the end of the year and see if the HDV version shown at NAB 2004 will be available :-))

I checked B&H and they emailed me a price of $3,199. I guess NAB price is no longer valid.

Yohann,

Yes, it is in the state. It's actually in Fremont, California. Their website is biz-max.net. No I did not pay tax. That is why I bought it from them instead of B&H. It's free shipping if you purchased a PD-170 but then again I picked mine up. I also purchased 10 Panasonic MQ for $5.60 each. I thought that was a pretty good price. They also have PAL version.
