Photo while recording?
I have been reading the manual for the VX2100 and have a question on taking photos. While I am recording to tape can I take a picture and have it sent to the memory stick. I used to enjoy taking pictures while recording on my TRV-33 but I can't seem to repeat the process on the 2100. It says you can capture to tape but it also puts the recording into standby. I don't think it is possible but I still wanted to ask anyway.

This is how I take still pictures from my video with my dsr-pd150 and from what I've read, the vx2000 and pd150 are very similar. What I do to eliminate interruptions in my video is to use my camcorder as a deck (and I know a lot of people don't like doing that) and rewind the footage back to where you want to take a picture, pause the video and then shoot the picture. If there is a lot of motion going on in the video, you should play the footage in slow motion. This method works good for me.
