what is my vx2100 worth now. at DVinfo.net

i have a pristine condition vx2100, no signs of wear, about 100-150 hours of use. all original equipment, and a sony .7 wide angle lens.

what would it be worth now with the demand for HD.

My guess is probably not as much as you'd like!

Since you say it's in good nick you could always try and post it in the Classifieds section here on DVinfo (if you are seriously considering selling it) and see what offers come in. If no one offers enough to tempt you, then keep it. This will at least give you a true indication of value (i.e. something is only worth what someone will actually pay for it).

Just yesterday somebody offered one in the Classifieds here for $1,300. Last week one was offered for $1650 with several extras.

I just bought a VX2100 with the standard battery and AC adapter for $1000. The Camera was clean (indoor wedding use only) and had no problems. I bought the unit 5 weeks ago in the Classifieds section on this board..

Just to let you know the prices fluctuate wildly....
