It's A Boy!!!

I just wanted to announce that I ordered my PD170 from B&H this morning.
Scoot over, guys, I want to sit with ya'll !
:-)

I also ordered the Portabrace bag meant for the PD150.

I didn't see anything by Portabrace specifically pertaining to the 170, so I assumed that this was the right bag to get. Did I do right?

Break out the cigars!

Shawn, I just got my PD170 from B&H yesterday. One day in shipping transit....not bad! Let me know how you like the portabrace bag. Hopefully you'll get it today because I'm ordering a bag, extra battery, and charger tonight.

I can't make a decision between the Porta Brace, Kata, or Petrol bags. The "sony" bag they sell is simply a Petrol bag (I think) but much more expensive. What's the difference (apart from the Sony emblem embroidered)?

No idea about the bags other than Portabrace, which are fabulous (I have one for my PDX10). I don't think I'll be getting the cam or bag today (and am now regretting not having it shipped 2nd Day). Will be more like next week...

That's where it benefits to live in an adjacent state to B&H. I have it sent standard ground and gets here the next day every time.
