VX2100 audio really fixed??
Has anyone determined if the audio on the VX2.1 is really improved? Is the hiss gone, or just slightly less?? C'mon VX2100 owners, what's the scoup??

The reports I've received from people who have had their cameras REPAIRED by sony say the fix works.
I don't know of anyone who has purchased a unit later than the magic serial number and reported.

Mark,
Were you referring to the old VX2000 hiss or the new PD buzz? |

I was wondering if the VX2100 audio has lower noise than the VX2000. Sony claims to have modified the circuits which they claim cuts the noise 6 dB. I just want to know if the audio of the 2100 is significantly improved (over the VX2000)?
