Video & Airport X-Rays
Ok....I just took delivery of my VX2000 last week and I am ready to get busy exploring this gem. I will be traveling... this weekend and since I do not have a Hard Case yet...will carry my precious in my new soft Bag.
Question I have is .......will airport x-ray have any negative effects on my DV Tape ? Do I need to check them in my luggage ? Any Travel Suggestions would be much appreciated. |

I've taken DV cassettes everywhere with me in carry-on luggage on a number of airlines and many different airports and have never had a problem. Hope this helps,

Don't say 'bomb' in an airport unless you want to see the dark end of a security hissy fit.

The Xray machine will only damage film. BUT..., the magic magnetic stick may damage magnetic media (DV tapes).
