Does anybody know if the battery chargers SIMA and AMBICO are suitable for the Sony VX 2000 batteries? I live in Buenos Aires and a cousin in Boston will buy a battery charger for me, but she said she couldn´t find a Sony charger yet, she found only SIMA and Ambico in her city. I cannot buy any charger in Buenos Aires now.

I don't know either of those brands - but I use a charger made by a company called Optex - it came with a battery that works in my VX 2000. The charger is smaller and cheaper than the one that sony makes.
