Combining C.O. 16x9 with Wide-Angle
Hello!
I may be nuts, but I'm interested in using the Century Optics 16x9 adapter in conjunction (simultaneously) with their Wide-Angle (and/or their Tele) adapter. Do you guys think this is possible? I'm aware that were talking 58mm threads here, and my feeling is no, you can't, but I wanted to run it by the experts. Thanks in advance! Mark |

I'm pretty sure you're nuts! ;-) Actually the 16:9 adapter has a slight wide-angle which gives quite a nice effect and may do the job for you anyway.

By the way, I got the official word from Century Optics: I am nuts. Seriously, they said you could not combine the two, but he did advise me that the 16x9 adapter does in fact work as a bit of a wide-angle converter itself... about a 20-25% or so increase. So there you have it!
