AE shift vs iris adjust
since I seem to be in a "posting" mood, what is it regarding the Automatic Exposure shift? Does anyone use this feature? When I'm in manual mode, I always leave the shutter speed at 1/60 and adjust the iris for exposure.
What do we use the AE for? |

For when you are in auto iris mode. The "shift" indicates whether you would like to be lighter or darker than "standard", based on the camera's own logic of what "properly" exposed is.
