DVCPro Tapes, Sony DSR-11 Deck
Does anyone know if you can successfully capture DVCPro DP121 66 tapes on a Sony DSR-11?

If you're asking whether or not the DSR-11 can playback DVC-PRO footage, the answer is unfortunately that it can't. I think only the big guys (DSR-1500 and up) can do that.

Hi Mickey,
I tried to reply to your PM but it bounced. Anyway, I agree that it is highly unlikely that the DSR-11 will play anything but DV/DVCAM. John. |

Yes, you can play a DVCPRO tape (large size only) in a Sony DSR-11. But it will not output through the firewire connector.
