Here is a nice glamour shooting test done with a PD170.

Despite the noise, the overall look is nice.

Nothing special, the sharpness is almost at maximum, iris is wide open and compensated with higher shutter speed (it was between 100-250)
The footage was color corrected (and you can see the math in the high DVCAM noise coming up), i added some color glow.
But the most important thing is the light which can really make a camera footage look better.
