Problem capturing with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5
Hi Folks,
Ok - I have set up my scratch discs and widescreen video and audio capture settings, plugged in my PDX10 via. Firewire and I'm getting a error on the top of the capture screen - it's telling me to try resetting my camera. I've gone into the options and have chosen the PDX10 as the source device. I tried turning the camera on and off - made sure the camera is set on VTR - and I'm still getting the same error. It's not letting me capture my footage. What am I doing wrong? I have already captured using this computer, firewire card and PDX10 with no problems - just can't seem to get it happening in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. Any suggestions? |

try this...
try using windows movie maker just to see if you can capture any footage at all... The pdx-10 has had problem with capturing and audio in the past.. Also don't capture all your footage using Windows movie maker because after version 1.2 it bumped up the bitrate to 30 megabit instead of 25 and making it useless to any other program... Also try with another camera, to see if it's your computer.

got it going
Thanks Craig - I had my external audio capture breakout box turned off - so I restarted the computer and flipped on the audio - problem solved!
