HELP: PDX10 lens hood picture request at DVinfo.net

The new Sony HC1 is finally shipping. Unfortunately, those who have received this camcorder have noticed that they cannot attach filters with the supplied lens hood attached. Many of us would like to know if the PDX10 lens hood will fit this camcorder instead.

Can someone please take a highly detailed picture of their PDX10 lens hood from the lens side with a millimeter ruler next to it for scale and measurement of the locking clips? This should allow us a rough guestimation as to whether or not it would work with the HC1. Even better would be if someone who has received an HC1 to try the PDX10 lens hood.

How about if we meet up and I bring my PDX10 and the associated lens hoods, and you just try them out on your HC1? I am just down the road from you, probably only around 15 or 20 minutes away.

You are THE MAN! I should have my HC1 by Monday or Tuesday. I'll PM you when it comes. I guess it's a win/win situation since you'll get a chance to check out the HC1 before most. Thanks.

Yeah, that's cool. I've been wanting to check on out; I believe we had this discussion once before. ;-) Just shoot me a PM and we'll hook up. I am free weekday evenings after 6:00. I'm normally busy as all get-out on weekends.

Maybe we can meet someplace with coffee? Like say, Cafe Brazil on 75/Campbell???
