Any other way to change...
from record mode to vcr mode without using the main switchy thing?
I dropped my camera and it just stopped working, and I got the error E:61:3 or something like that. I banged it really hard and it started working again, although the main switch for changing modes is still broken. I can only record. Any suggestions? |

Hello Daniel. Even if there was another way, would you really want to?
1. you dropped the camera and it broke -- it should have been repaired or replaced at this point -- 2. you intentionally banged the camera, braking it even futher -- that was something you really should not have done, it is quite feasible you just made the repair a lot more expensive -- The camera should be serviced / repaired. If that is too expensive (versus a new camera, I have no idea what this particular camera costs new) you should get a new one. Why? Because even if you do get it to work the camera is unreliable. More can (and probably will) break and this will no doubt happen at a time you do not want it to happen. Better make sure you get the problems sorted before you do any serious shooting with it. Good luck!
