Cinetactics Oversized French Flag?
They mention on the web page that some folks have found they can attach this French Flag to the lens shroud on the AG-DXV100 series cameras. I forgot to bring my PDX10 in today to check the size against the 100A we have here but has anyone used this flag with the larger lens shade of the PDX10?
http://cinetactics.com/mb100m-ffl.php Just wondering if this would work. I don't think velcro will stick well to the soft rubber Sony lens shade. And from what I know about adhesive velcro, it leaves a nasty residue when the velcro peels off. Anyone else using this Matte Box system? Seems like a good idea for those of us just needing extended light shading. Sean

I don't find it very exciting because given the wide open profile of the lens shade, it really won't be too good at blocking flares. It needs an "eyebrow" to be effective.
