synchronizing two TRV900s
Hi all!
I usually synchronize my two cameras using a flash, and just synchronize the video using premier. It works just fine, but my boss wants me to do this automatically. (She had heard a rumor about a lab doing this, but it hasn't been confirmed. My guess is that they were using a flash to synchronize as well.) Does anyone have any suggestions? The ideal is that I hit one button, which starts both cameras recording at EXACTLY the same time. The timing has to be perfect (that's why automating the process would certainly be better, of course). Thanks in advance for any help!! Rachel |

You could use the remote control pointed at both cameras, but I doubt this would be accurate down to the frame level...

Sadly, no.. it's gotta be exact and not subject to human error.

Cameras must be genlocked to get precise sync. You can get within 1/2 frame by manually adjusting them in post on the timeline. I use eye blinks, mouth movements, or any other fast movement.
