Telephoto
I have TRV 950, and I would like to take a shot focus on 1 object and the background is blur. Does anyone know how to do it? Do I need Telephoto len to do that? if so, which model you suggest? Thanks

If your object is small and close, you can always use macro mode...there is portrait mode in program AE, which widely opens apeture also helps blur the background...tele does help though, but I don't think it's common to use a tele just for shallow DOF purpose...

If you zoom in all the way and use manual mode with the iris wide open then you should be able to get this effect, here's an example http://www.greenmist.com/trovatore/f...909/leonora/04. Sure, adding a telephoto adaptor will help even more. Sony makes a 2x "high grade telephoto" that I use and it's great, although not cheap.
