problem, 16x9 to 24p in Vegas, bug?
I wonder if any one ever tried this. Shoot and captured in 16:9 mode. In Vegas, render to 24p(2:3 pull down), the output avi is bad (unable to watch, jumpy, or keep switching between 4:3 and 16:9), I am not sure if it's only me, or it's a bug ?

I've rendered to all kinds of formats in Vegas 4 after shooting 16:9 and never had any troubles.
The only problem I have had was with interlacing giving jaggies. Solved this by rendering in progressive.

This is interesting. I have tried many times, even 2-3-32 pull down...I'll try it again..Are you sure there is no other trick/settings?

I have had really good experiences with Vegas so far but my settings may indeed differ from yours.
I'm not really an expert. You might want to ask over at the Vegas forum also.

Yes, WMP does not handle AVIs well. You can use powerDVD or a similar program to see it correctly.
