pc-330 - resolution of individual frames
According to the specifications, the 3 megapixel ccd of the pc-330 can provide 3 mpix still frames and 2 mpix video frames. How can I get the 2 mpix resolution? We need the best possible frame quality. We do not need more than 2-3 fps. Can we acchieve the above with another camcorder?

Rafi,
There is a PC330 discussion group here: http://www.camcorderinfo.com/bbs/f7/ You might want to ask your question over there too.

They might be right about the 3 mega-pixel still frames to Memorystick Steve, but they're lying about the 2 mega-pixel video frames. To be DV it has to be 720 x 576 (PAL) and the mathematics aren't difficult; it's half a mega-pixel. What they may be meaning is that the camera's electronics interpolate the 2 mega-pixel area of the 3 megapixel chip to give this 720 x 576 image, quite a different matter.
