Wide angle lenses & focus
Does using a wide angle lens on the trv-950 mean I can't use the one-touch auto focus function? Or does it depend on the lens?

You know, I don't think I've ever tried that with the WA, however I have shot using the glidecam and autofocus engaged. Seemed to work perfectly (.45x Titanium WA lens). However one nice thing about a very wide lens like that is extreme depth of field, therefore not a lot of need to move focus off infinity.

The one-touch focus button works whatever you've placed in front of your lens Maureen, as it rapidly homes in on the greatest contrast situation. Use it. I find it's the best way to have autofocus work for you as you remain in the manual focus mode. I just wish that Push Auto button was bigger though.

The touch screen is also a way to pull focus (assuming the 950 shares this feature with the PDX-10). It seems to work well for this, however it's rather slow to respond.
