Extended warranties--Should I?
Hi All
Just recently bought a PDX-10 from B and H. I was wondering whether I should buy an extended warranty (the 2 year model seemed most reasonable to me). B and H offers the Mack warranty, and I can also buy one from Sony, though I am unfamiliar with the details on the Sony one. Just curious what others think--about either one of these options, and about Extended warranties in general. What to think about, or watch out for...I usually say No to such things, but this purchase is a big one, and I want to do the right thing. heck--it cost more than my car--by $800!!! Thanks! Chris |

Thanks Tommy--in the end, judging from that post, it looks like it could go either way. People are pretty divided about it, amybe a slight edge to "Don't bother" Probably comes down to whether I have the extra $100 dollars or not--buying it can't hurt, but might be a waste. Well, at least I have 30 days to think about it--after that, the warranty isn't offered.
I got the tail end of that same sale, too. Great deal, thanks to you alerting me to it. Thanks again Chris |
