Sony .6 WA Adapter
I was wandering around in Hell (BestBuy) and I went into the camera section to price batteries. There were also a few filters and WA adapters for sale. The promintenly displayed ones were all cheapo generic ones, but over hidden in a corner I noticed a Sony made .6 WA adapter for $39. Think it stands a chance of being a decent piece of glass?

I don't know, but for $39 how good can it really be? Sony also
makes "consumer" products.....

Well I got it and it's actually very decent. Haven't messed with it extensively, but it doesn't put anything out of focus and if there is distortion it is very minor.

It's the single element non zoom-through that attaches via a ring adapter, right?
OK, you got it for a good price but the distortion on the one I tried was unacceptable. tom. |
