The RX100 IV and V are potentially the best *indoor* sports camera. The fast lens (f1.8) helps in the relatively low light in sports arenas, especially the non pro ones. This is critical for slow motion, when shutter speeds have to be from 1/125th to 1/250th. And these cameras have the best 1080 120p and 240p (along with the RX10's), enabling great slow motion. And , the power zoom, in its special video mode, is nice and smooth and appropriately timed. Of course, you can shoot 4K.
This Full HD video is all slow motion highlights of a basketball game, with 1/4 and 1/8th slomo. I think basketball is actually more interesting when watched in slow motion.
