Im thinking of getting one as a monitor (dont care about the recording capability). How is it in that regard? Accurate, etc ? Would you trust it for lighting, color, contrast judgement? Thanks.

As a monitor the 7Q is fantastic, but I would consider the 7 if you only need a monitor.
Here is a screen grab from a Resolve graded shot from my tests. It is from 2K raw Slog2.
