FS700 Hand Grip replacement
Does anyone know where I can purchase a fs700 grip? The cable that connects to the body got damage on a shoot and I really need to replace the grip. Searched on-line and have not found anything. Thanks

I'll take a look at mine but I expect you should be able to replace the cable if you or someone you know have some soldering ability.

Just by the lanC extension cable at the bottom of this page in the length of your choice then cut the female end off and use it to replace the damaged cable.

That's a really good idea but I don't know how to do that :/
I was given Sony's # and it's $170 to buy a replacement. Your recommendation is tempting. Edit: I purchased the grip new. Thanks Everyone. Chris your idea is a really good one. Just wish I had soldering skills :/ Last edited by Monday Isa; July 17th, 2013 at 02:47 PM. |
