FS700 all dressed Up
Here is the latest version of my kit. I am getting close to production.
This is with NanoFlash and Zakuto EVF and a SDI Monitor hooked up to the NanoFlash. It also has a "wing for Wireless mics etc, back of NanoFlash. Also it has my adjustable Rod system withFF and MatteBox. It also has the IDX Battery plate to help balance the rig, I am working on powering thecamera with the IDX or Gold-Mount batteries, more on that soon. If you are interested in a pre production of this kit contact me directly. All the finalized parts will be anodized black and the handle extension will be available with a wooden handle. I am looking for feedback on the rig. The great thing about this kit is that it is modular, it can be compact and still good on the shoulder or all dressed up.

Re: FS700 all dressed Up
Noa, the setup you see w/o the 9" monitor that is attached to the head weighs about 14 lbs. The Nanoflash and Zakuto don't weigh much at all, neither does the rails and mattebox, they are just big. The heaviest part is the battery, the nice thing about the IDX is that you can stack them to balance the rig for shouldering.
This will vary a lot depending on your lens, this is with the Metabones andCanon 24-70 f2.8 L. For shouldering I usually dont use the 15mm rails, FF and mattebox, but you can if you need to, you can also add an on camera eye light, I use the Sola ENG with spun silk for this, it is powered from the IDX battery in the back, and it adds about 1 lb.
