New Sony A-mount 18-135mm
Just wondering if the new Alpha 18-135mm lens will be a good alternative to the kit lens for those with the A-mount adaptor? It's got a new "SAM" auto-focus mechanism which may be more suited to AF use with the FS700 than the E-mount kit lens. It's not the fastest or biggest range lens but is has some potential as corporate-video style lens.

Re: New Sony A-mount 18-135mm
I may be wrong but the AF system will not work on slower than f3.5 lenses.
If I understand Sonys note correctly. "Aperture setting for video capture is fixed at the maximum aperture of the lens or f/3.5, whichever is lower (AF-C)." This means only wide setting on this lens would auto focus. Also lens would always have to be wide open. Am I wrong about this, has anyone tried slower lenses with the LA-EA2 adapter?
