Man of Steel on the FS700
I shot this manly with a pre-production model of the Sony FS700 (and some bits with a FS100)., but itīs about 90% FS700.
Itīs the pilot of a series of micro documentaries - 10 minutes each - hence the name 10DOC. Frank |

Outstanding work. Love seeing work like yours. It encourages me to work harder to make better films and doco's.
Im excited by this camera. I'd say I will definitely be lining up for one! Jamie |

Thanks for the warm words.
Just received an other 700 to play with for a while. Hope I can keep it till 25th, cause Iīm shooting a short on that weekend and would love to do it with that baby. Frank |

Re: Man of Steel on the FS700
Hi Frank, do you know if your FS100 picture profiles work on the FS700? seems like there is a couple of different menu settings on the 700.
Thanks Mike |

Re: Man of Steel on the FS700
No, different beast.
Since there is much less need to tweak and workarounds, I use only one PP one the FS700 that is Cinegamma 4, knee all the way up, slope zero. Setting the black level according to your scene, a hair over zero IRS. I don`t mess with the rest of the settings, they are fine in my book as they are. All color is done in post here, I record externally on a Ninja, so there is plenty of room to play with. I may do a second preset for low-light with a different gamma, since the gamma 4 is a bit on the noisy side when you crank the ISO up. Best, Frank |
