SD recording on FS-100
I know it's odd, but a client has asked me to record/deliver SD raw footage from the FS-100. I can't seem to find info on the field order. I know it's recording at 480/60i. Is there a way to sniff it out via software or does someone know offhand whether it's recording upper or lower field first?
Thanks. |

Re: SD recording on FS-100
Most of the time it's lower but not always. I had never shot SD on my FS before so I did some just to see. I couldn't find it in the metedata and it didn't show in Premiere pro or after effects under properties.
You could try deinterlacing lower first then reverse fileds and deinterlace again and see if you get a quality difference. |

Re: SD recording on FS-100
Generally speaking everything except PAL DV is upper first, or at least I can't think of anything else offhand that was lower first.
