Using Ninja with FS100
Not sure if this if common info, but just in case. You can start and stop your Ninja version one by using a 2,5mm Y cable splitter. Feed your stock Sony handle LANC control into one side of the Y and the use a Male to Male to feed the Ninja version one. The camera and the Ninja both go into record and stop with the camera. You need to have the latest firmware update installed in the Ninja for this to work.
FInding 2.5mm Y cables is a bit of a pain but I ordered two from an Ebay seller in England for about five bucks each shipped and just made my own 2.5mm male to male, I suppose you could make a custom cable creating your own Y with varying lengths too. One other thing the male end of the Y had a bit too much plastic before the ring, tip and sleeve. This made it impossible to insert completely into the camera. I used a pencil sharpener (the little ten cent one) and a couple of twists and the plastic was tapered and plug fit perfectly. Hope this is of some use to folks. Brian

Re: Using Ninja with FS100
The Ninja 2 does not use LANC. It uses the hdmi connection to trigger record.
