2/3 inch lens on the FS100/FS700
Till now I use my Canon 28x18HD lens on the EX-3, For me it is the perfect combination (wildlife) With the announcement of the FS700 I asked myself if it is possible to use my Canon lens on the FS100/700 and can I cover the whole the chip.
I read also a lot about the Homebrew adapter and also about the Abakus 2x adapter (B4-PL). Is there someone with experience with both adapters with 2/3 B4 lenses. I am curious if there is some difference in sharpness or contrast (and yes I know the difference in price :)). Thanks a lot |

Re: 2/3 inch lens on the FS100/FS700
Alister Chapman has designed an adaptor to do that will work with the F3, perhaps it will work with the FS100/700, as well. It is distributed through MTF (Mike Tapa) . I would assume that it will depend on whether his adaptor is designed for the the F3's "F Mount" or a PL mount.

Hi Chuck,
Thanks, I known about the Mike Tapa adapter designed by Alister, but if someone have the experience I was curious about the difference between the two adpaters (contrast and sharpness). And yes I known that the Abakus adapter is built as a 2x converter. |
