Just ordered my FS100 today, with kit lens. Adding lens adapter for 35mm and 50 mm Canon FD lenses. Holding off on Ninja for the moment. Waiting until I have in hand, and have time to figure out my own production ergonomic needs.
Looking forward to comparing notes --- and of course, plenty of purchase reinforcement!

Re: Joining the Club
Congrats, Bill! You'll love the camera. It takes great looking video. A 35mm and 50mm are good lenses to have. You'll find you'll use the kit zoom lens a lot. The first purchase I recommend is a good variable ND filter for the zoom. It's almost useless without one outdoors.

+1 on Glenn's variable ND filter suggestion. You'll love the camera. Low light performance is wonderful with a fast prime. You'll be seeing in the dark!

Oh yes. I also got a Genus variable ND filter, and a rig that will fit my old Chriziel Matte Box. It's fun having a lego camera.
