There's rumors of a new NXCAM camcorder. If it's true, who knows what it will be.

I've been wondering this too. A new NXCAM and lenses announcements as well Sony is moving to a UPP price modeling on April 1st.
I'm ready to make a few camera purchases but I'm having trouble gauging if I should buy before NAB or after. |

Re: Is now a good time to buy FS100?
IMHO, Sony has plans to recoup some of the DSLR's shooters. The game has been moving pretty fast and I believe Sony is going to make some non-traditional moves (nontraditional for Sony anyway) and try to recapture the market they feel has slipped right though their fingers the last few years -- I can't quite put my finger on it but it seems something is going on.
I'm accessing what it will take for me to get started; I'm leaning at a pair of used FS100's, and trying to figure out if the price will drop or hold after NAB. |

Re: Is now a good time to buy FS100?
i am also looking for a used FS100 too... hard to see one locally.
I don't know it's because the camera is too good or it actually doesn't have many people buying it |

Re: Is now a good time to buy FS100?
I've seen quite a few for sale online and some very attractive deals. I've only seen one FS100 in person, I held it and we talked about it little, but the camera belonged to the kid's school.
I think its the right camera for me right now but I have to figure out my full purchasing plan before I jump. |
