Re: Sony E-Mount SEL16F28
I am the one who does this test. Of course this lens worth it. at 250$ or less, you can't not have it with an fs100.
The lens is not perfect through... Center is sharp, but corners are soft wide open. It's improved by stopping down, and almost unnoticable at f5.6 and more. But depending of the subject, you can still use it wide open. There is not always details in the corners. The wide angle converter made specifically for this less (VCL-ECU1) is a must have too for less than 100$. If you can read in french, I have made a quick review on my blog: Jean-Philippe Archibald Test: lentille 16mm f2.8 SEL1628 e-mount et grand angle Sony VCL-ECU1

Cinecity, I bought it three years ago. Don't know if it still the current model. It's a close copy of the Vocas mattebox, with cheaper material. I added a custom made universal donut on it.

Re: Sony E-Mount SEL16F28
FYI, the 16mm doesn't come with a hood, and as for the wide angle adapter, you can't remove the hood and you can't attach a filter to it. As for the wide angle adapter, it's the typical scenario where you make assumptions when you buy something, the manufacturer doesn't tell you all the facts, and after you get the product, they get to say "GOTCHA!"
