Content Management Utility
Hello all,
I know that the CMU is very old and outdated, but my question is - do I really need it - can't I just transfer the files directly from the card to my Mac hard drive? I am a Mac guy, I have it running on Bootcamp and I do use it to import the files form the card, but then I have to reboot back into the Mac before I can start editing. All I have read states that the only thing I'll lose is the GPS setting, which I yet to figure a purpose for. |

Re: Content Management Utility
CMU stitches the FAT32 files together correctly without audio sync or dropped frames. If you never record over 15 or 20 mins then you do not exceed the FAT32 file limit so no problems. If you record long form then you do and the clip will extend over several files. I think you could try Catalyst Browse now to do the same thing.

Re: Content Management Utility
Not tried it but looks like it can do what you want.
