i have use this camera for a month, shooting each weekend Sweet 15. My Camera gets out of focus for no reason..... This happes in bright daylight, at the reception hall, at the living room. I contacted B&H hopefully I get a replacement.
I kind of regret I sold my AgAC90.... |

Re: Sony NX100 - Thumbs Down
I guess that the autofocus area is giving priority at the center of the frame.
If your subject is moving outside the center of the frame, autofocus seems to ignore them? N.F. |

Even then you would expect a videocamera to be able to retain auto focus when you shoot wide in rooms with sufficient light, it either is malfunctioning or it just might have a unreliable autofocus, I hope for Mario it's the first.

This thing's been around for a while
What does the fragmentation of Sony's divisions mean for product upgrades, support etc ?????? It doesn't look good to me. |

Re: Sony NX100 - Thumbs Down
Interesting. The Z150 which is the 4k version of this NX100 camera has pretty damn good autofocus. It's been very rock solid for most things that I have tried with it. Granted, I'm shooting manual half the time and auto the other half. I'm impressed with it.
